You know what?  I’m not even going to address the article.  My beef with this is the headless photo of a fat man.  I saw this story on the local news last night and it was nothing but stock footage of fat torsos walking around.  This is troubling because it dehumanizes fat people.  It suggests that we are simply amorphous blobs jiggling down the sidewalk.  It pushes the fact that we are human beings aside and that is unfair.
